Privacy notice

This notice explains what WannaSkill collects when you visit wannaskill.com or join our waitlist, why we collect it, and how you can have it deleted. We have written it in plain language. If anything is unclear, ask us at info@wannaskill.com.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist

• Your email address, which you type into the form.
• The time you gave your consent by ticking the box.
• Which form you used (top of the page or bottom), and any campaign tags in the link you came from.

When you use the site, whether or not you join

• A random identifier that your browser stores for us. It is not your name or email, and we use it to recognise that several visits came from the same browser.
• Which page you opened, which sections you scrolled to, which buttons you pressed, and the website you came from.

If you join the waitlist, we link the activity from your browser to your email address. That includes activity from before you joined in the same browser, and everything you do on the site afterwards. If you do not join, this activity stays attached only to the random identifier.

We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics, we do not set advertising cookies, and we do not ask for passwords or payment details. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security and to keep the service running.

Why we collect it

• To confirm by email that you have joined, and to email you when priority access opens.
• To understand which parts of the site people find useful, so we can improve the product.
• To tell our team at info@wannaskill.com that someone has joined.

We rely on your consent for this. You give it by ticking the box next to the form, and you can withdraw it at any time.

Who can see it

Only the WannaSkill team can open the waitlist. We do not sell your information or share it for advertising. We use Hostinger to host the site and to run our email, so your information is stored on and passes through its systems. We will share information if the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address and activity while the waitlist is open, and for up to 12 months after your last interaction with us. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we will. We delete it from our records, but a copy of any email we have already sent may stay in our mailbox until we clear it.

Your choices

You can ask us, at any time, to:

• tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy;
• correct it;
• delete it, which removes your email and all activity linked to it; or
• stop emailing you and withdraw your consent.

The quickest way to be removed is the link in the confirmation email we send when you join. It deletes your email and your activity straight away. For anything else, email info@wannaskill.com from the address you signed up with. We aim to reply within 30 days. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Age

WannaSkill is for people aged 18 and over. Please do not join the waitlist if you are younger.

Changes to this notice

If we change what we collect or why, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
